What is Aspire to Africa?
Aspire to Africa is a project of Midlands based charity the African Space Trust, established and co-ordinated by sports education specialists, Aspire Sports Health and Fitness Ltd.
Our mission
The mission of Aspire to Africa is to develop and educate schools and local communities in Africa through physical activity and sport. The project also aims to help improve personal skills such as teamwork, interpersonal abilities and leadership.
Life changing opportunities
A team will travel to Tanzania every year and work with schools in the rural villages of Itete and M’angula.
We will visit the country once per year providing equipment, resources and skills thus creating a lasting legacy that uses sport and physical activity to develop life changing opportunities.
What will the funds raised be used for?
All funds raised will go to African Space Trust and be used to help support the Aspire to Africa project, including the purchase of equipment and resources.
UK schools will experience the benefits of the project too!
We develop and sustain ongoing links between the African and UK schools. This will help add a global dimension to the curriculum, broaden pupils’ awareness of world issues in a meaningful way and enhance curricular learning.

Aspire to Africa 2011
A team of 8 employees will travel to Tanzania on 12th August for 15 days. Every member of the team will make a significant financial contribution to the trip however we will also be staging fundraising events to support the delivery of the programme, training resources and equipment.
