PE Curriculum Support for Primary Education
Physical Education is set to become a core subject alongside English, maths and science in 2014.
- Do your teaching staff have the skills, confidence and knowledge to deliver high quality PE?
- Do your PE lessons focus on fundamental movement skills as well as fundamental sports skills?
- Are your pupils receiving high quality PE or just 'taking part' in sports sessions?
For some children and young people, physical education remains their only structured or organised, regular physical activity. It is therefore crucial that all pupils are given the chance to take part in high quality PE and capitalize on their potential so that they can be active for life.

We set ourselves extremely high standards to meet the demands for high quality PE in schools. Our curriculum programmes are structured, have specific learning outcomes and assessment criteria which address the QCA and National Curriculum. Your pupils are managed in an effective manner and are always kept on task. Combined with effective implementation of our behaviour framework, our aim is to help every pupil reach their full potential.
And because PE can sometime be the only structured form of physical activity we ensure constant activity throughout our lessons and full engagement for your pupils.
