Aspire attend the 2019 Annual National Bikeability Conference
On Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th May, Bikeability instructors and managers gathered at the Left Bank in Hereford for the 2019 Annual National Bikeability Conference. Our Bikeability lead was one of 270 delegates who attended, making this year’s the largest conference to date.
As providers of Bikeability to schools within King Edward School Sport Partnership, Wilson Stuart Active Society and Staffordshire County Council, Aspire are always keen to further their knowledge to ensure delivery is of the highest quality. Focusing on the new National Standards, the conference enabled Aspire to do just this, learning how best to implement these new standards in delivery.
Speaking at the event, Jesse Norman MP expressed his support for the Bikeability programme, followed by an introduction to the 2019 Bikeability Awards.
An enjoyable, useful and extremely worthwhile two days! If you’d like to find out more about our Bikeability programme, click here.
