Greater Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards finalists
Yesterday we learnt that Aspire Education Group have been shortlisted for not one but TWO of the Greater Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards for 2021.
The awards celebrate the best and brightest learners, training providers and the employers who are helping them to succeed, and we are thrilled to be finalists in the following categories:
TRAINING PROVIDER OF THE YEAR
Judges will be looking for those training providers which can demonstrate a real commitment to the development of apprentices, relationships with employers and the delivery of new and innovative apprenticeship programmes which respond to regional skills priorities.
EDUCATION ENGAGEMENT AWARD
An award for employers, training providers, universities and other education providers who have pro-actively promoted apprenticeships with those who are in education. Judges will consider what other support is offered by these organisations which has contributed to people making positive progress on their own career journey.
Paul Griffiths, Director at Aspire, was delighted with the news:
“The Aspire team are over the moon to be shortlisted as a finalist in two categories for the Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards. A tremendous amount of good work goes on in the region so to be recognised alongside other training providers is a nice way to recognise the brilliant work our team have delivered over the past 18 months. It’s vital that training providers across all sectors educate and engage those in education in apprenticeships. The apprenticeship pathway is well positioned to support recovery from the pandemic and therefore providers also need to ensure that apprentices experience the very best learning opportunities. Good luck to all of the finalists!”
Whether we win or not, it’s humbling to be recognised for the work that we do and we eagerly await the awards ceremony on 11th November.
