A keynote from afPE's Sue Wilkinson set the precedent for what was to be a day to remember.

The 29th March saw Headteachers, PE teachers, Business Managers and Governors come together at Edgbaston Cricket Ground to learn, share, discuss, inspire and be inspired at the West Midlands PE and School Sport Conference 2019.

What brought them together? A passion for PE, school sport and physical activity.

Welcoming industry experts and leaders, insights were shared on mental health, pupil engagement, breaking down the gender barrier and school workforce development; pressing topics of today that demand our attention.
