Did you know the first school desk was made in 1881?

Which means in 2019 we’re still using a concept that originated in the Victorian era.

But what’s the alternative?

Join Andrew Stanton’s workshop to find out about your other option, the valuable approach of physically active learning.

As a former primary school teacher leading in both PE and maths, Andrew noticed something significant, he noticed the impact physical activity has on learning.

Supporting Andrew’s observation, research suggests physically active learning improves pupils’ focus, enhances academic achievement and increases physical activity in the school day.

With a mission to give every child the opportunity to participate in physically active learning, in 2016 Andrew joined Aspire. As Programme Development Manager, Andrew has been pivotal in the creation and growth of Aspire’s physically active learning programmes.

It’s time we moved on from 1881, book your spot on Andrew’s workshop to learn how.
