Balance bike training
Aimed at children in Early Years Foundation Stages and Key Stage 1, Balance bike training is delivered in your school through a six-hour programme.
Aspire will build confidence, spatial awareness and balancing skills, enabling young children to learn to ride a bike without ever needing stabilisers.
At the end of the programme, each child gains certificate of achievement and a life-long passion for cycling!
Scooter training
Large numbers of children use scooters to get to and from school or recreationally. As a result, there is a very real need to educate children on how to use their scooters effectively and safely.
The Scooter training programme consists of 2 x 1 hour lessons with the aim of using scooters as a fun and active way to introduce basic pedestrian safety messages while developing fundamental skills and encouraging physical activity.
Bikeability
Designed to give your pupils the skills and confidence to ride their bikes safely on the road, Aspire offers both Level 1 and Level 2 Bikeability provision.
At Level 1 children will learn to carry out a simple safety check, control the bike without wobbling and master quick and effective braking.
Level 2 provision includes road safety, hand signals, identifying hazards and using the Highway Code.
Children are awarded badges and certificates upon successful completion, and Aspire programmes can always be tailored to meet the requirements of your school.
We can provide all equipment, including bikes, helmets and learning resources - greatly increasing participation levels.
Funding for Bikeability can be gained from a variety of sources including various school sport partnerships, Youth Sports Trust and the Department for Transport.

The Big Numbers
We have been delivering a first class Bikeability programme since 2009, and participating schools have reported that ALL CHILDREN enjoyed the experience.
100% of schools would recommend our provision to another school and were completely satisfied with the overall service we provided
More than 12,000 children have achieved Bikeability Level 1 and 10,000 Bikeability Level 2
